Borosilicate Fireproof Glass Features

Borosilicate single fireproof glass is a special raw glass produced by the float process.

which is made of materials containing high borosilicate and has a low thermal expansion coefficient (4.0*10-6), high softening point, Glass products with high impact resistance.

Excellent performance:

1. The thermal expansion coefficient is 2-3 times lower than that of ordinary glass (silicate glass);

2. Ultra-high softening point (851℃), up to 3 hours fire-proof time. maintain integrity;

3. The structural improvement determines that there is no NiS crystal itself, which eliminates the hidden danger of self-explosion;

4. The single-piece fireproof glass can be fully tempered, which meets the national standard tempering requirements and fire protection requirements, and is widely used;

6. The density is 2.28g/cm3 (25℃), which is about 8% lighter than ordinary soda-lime-silica glass, which can be directly replaced by the same thickness;

7. Ultra-high mechanical strength and high hardness, close to Mohs hardness level 7 (ordinary float is level 6).

8. Good anti-wear performance, under the same load condition, it is only a quarter of that of ordinary glass.

It has strong resistance to chemical erosion and does not have the problem of mildew on ordinary glass.
